Kool-Aid

Hey mom. I love you. When do my classes actually start up? not that I’m a book nerd or anything.

I remember when we went on that hike. It was cool. Today was really fun. We had President Parker over for lunch in our apartment. I cooked! I made a local dish called dutty gal. It’s tin mackerel in tomato sauce and a whole heap of seasonings and vegetables. We ate it with yam, banana, pumpkin, and okra. I had some sweet potato I was going to add but I forgot to boil it. I bought a hand of ten plantains. They are all over a foot long.

I forgot my camera so I’ll send some next week. President Parker said I have an accent. He didn’t say were from but said I definitely have an accent.

My week was good because God provided my with nuff food. A guy in the line at the grocery store paid for my groceries last week. Blessings!

My best spiritual experience for this week was reading either Jacob chapter 6-7 or my tradeoff in downtown. The reading was great because of the plainness of Jacob’s speech in asking us to consider Christ’s atonement and to repent. The trade-off because I love to talk to people on the street. I loved it and it felt great. Also, Elder Fua let me drink a large portion of his huge jug of Kool-Aid. I like Kool-Aid.
