I'm not sure if I said it last week that it was the hardest week of the mission, but this week definitely capped that off...
Sit down, sit back, and buckle up.
Monday was a great day, I honestly don't even remember what we did that's how far away it seems but I know it was good :)
Tuesday we had our normal training in the morning, and it was probably the funnest I've gave in my time as a district leader. The rest of the day we spent finding quite a new people to be able to share the gospel with and it was ammaaaaazing. We found Ruby, and another woman (I also forgot her name... 😒😓) but hey're both really amazing!
Wednesday was when everything got hard... We had the marriage of Mariano and Cruz and everything went so well! They're married and Mariano has a baptismal date for the 10th! We had a family home evening with a huge family that one of their nieces just got home from the mission. She was in Argentina, and oh my gosh her accent is completely american. It's pretty funny to hear, that night we went contacting and I tried to help Elder Alvarez overcome his fear of people.... He told me before his first contact that it was time and that he wanted to go home... We went home, had a huge talk and he called Presidente Conde... The next day we got calls with special transfers and Elder Alvarez went home to Chihuaha... Pray for him please, I can't imagine what he's going through now.
I'm now with Élder Spíndola! we started Friday off with the baptism of Bor, which went so amazing! he asked me to do the ordinance and i thought that it went really really well! gotta love those small miracles that the Lord blesses you with. Saturday we had the marriage party in the church... no offense to my fellow Mexicans but now I see why everybody here drinks in their parties... The best part for them was that there was a lot of presents but oh wow... I got bored.
Sunday was Bor's confirmation and we just keep on moving forward in the work here! I love the mission, and now that my district went from 8 to 12 (adding 4 new sister missionaries) I know the Lord will give me the strength to handle everything... My district is literally half of the zone. it's crazy hahaha but I'm managing :)
