So this email is going to be a little different. I had so many wonderful experiences with the Book of Mormon so I'm going to kinda just tell some awesome stories. Maria: So Maria is almost 70 and lives way up the mountain. We met her about 2 weeks ago and gave her a Book of Mormon and the last 4 times we have returned we taught her the Restoration again cause she always has a new friend that wants to listen to us after hearing her experiences. So we showed up and asked her if she read and she said she did and loved it. We were expecting her to have read a few pages but her book mark was in Alma 8. What the heck. She couldn´t put it down. So we were going to invite her to be baptized at the end of the lesson because she loves our messages so much. We started teaching about faith and repentance and then her friend paused us and said he had a question about if he needed to repent. He said "do I have to repent if I´m living with someone?"My companion said "are you married"And he said "yes...just not to the same woman"Then Elder Ellsworth proceded to teach him about Adultery and the 10 commandments from his Bible. He was living with Maria but his old wife and him ended a while back. It was really sad because they can´t get baptised unless they get married first. So...if you are having a hard time getting a good STUDY of the Book of Mormon remeber how you are taking this knowledge for granted and try and catch up to Maria.Miguel: miguel will get baptized in about 4 weeks. We were teaching him the plan of salvation and we mentioned ressurection and he lost it. He kinda started yelling about how it is crazy even with God because of how the body and spirit work together. He wouldnt let us talk much and was going off on us. Then we shared a scripture in the Book of Mormon and testified of its truthfulness and asked if he would pray about it and ask God if the Ressurection is real. He said "No" "I won't cause I know it is true now." The Spirit was so strong right then because of the Book of Mormon. It is so powerful.
