So mom...I held an hermana`s [sister/female missionary] hand today. It`s already dark out, so I`m gonna zip. We went to Sierra de las Ventanas, it was the absolute best, some day I`ll have time to write about it, send you pictures, and download Dad`s songs, but that day has not come. I was the caboose for the train of people, and I got to help some hermanas who were behind everyone else. At one point, one of them rolled their ankle a little bit, so I did hold her hand to support her as she descended. It was awesome, and I will try to get pictures to you...next P-day. I love you! Know that family is THE most important thing in my mission and my life.Spanish joke of the week: Que hace una mangera en la calle? Vende mangos. Ja. (I had to look up mangera. I believe its a hose.)I really did learn a ton from my respite in the mountains, sorry if it sounds apurado [worried]. (How`s that first line for a shocker, eh?)Bye! ¡Nos Vemos! [See ya!]Elder Sheffer———————————From Karen:We got to talk to Ben on Easter. He played Johnny in a game of chess…and won. He taught us some Portuguese he is learning from his missionary companion. Like the days of the week are pretty interesting. Monday thru Friday are instead the Portuguese words for 2nd thru 6th. Ben is helping him with his English too. Courtney quoted some of her play for Ben. Johnny hadn’t had a chance to talk to him for awhile so that was fun.
