Centerville GA

Elder Nathan Roberts

Season 13, episode 3

Well folks, another week has escaped us already. Kind of unfair how fast they go.

I'll be short this week. We went to hike stone mountain this morning and that disrupted my pday chain of events.

I'm writing this today because we had a meeting yesterday with a ton of missionaries down in Conyers. Good times

We had a call this week with our friend Jah-Mai. He's a cool cat, and he loves the book of Mormon so that helps us out a lot. We haven't met with him a lot but we are trying to more in the near future.

Put together cabinets for our ward mission leader and they had me feeling like my last few braincells were having a fight to the death, but eventually I figured it out and got a few put together.

Split some wood like Paul Bunyan and his big blue ox at the horse farm, always nice to swing an axe.

Did some sidewalk chalk art with the sisters at the park. We drew out the plan of salvation and left it for the world to enjoy, it was pretty nice looking! My handwriting was actually good, which if you know me you know my handwriting is equivalent to that of a 2 year old boy with a mushy crayon.

Called bingo again and I put Sister Clarrke right to sleep! Poor sister zonked right out. Being a missionary is exhausting, so I don't blame her a bit.

We had a fun bball/lesson combo on Saturday and we made friends with a KFC employee. Powerful connection to have there.

Had a super cool ward council before church in Sunday where some local leaders came and talked about what the year should look like for the centerville ward. One guy talked about the Restoration of the Gospel and how incredible it is and how it and the Book of Mormom should be our focal point in living and sharing the gospel. Powerful message.

Thats really all I got yall. Hopefully better stories this next week.

Stay safe and be blessed! Talk soon
