We had done Conferance this week! It was awesome we learned know to teach to people's need better and all sorts of other stuff. Elder Smith and I gave a training on a section in preach my gospel "How to Begin teaching". It went pretty good if I do say so myself.
We are still teaching Kali, we taught him some of the heavier commandment lessons this last week with is always fun! He makes us cookies Every time we go over there. He is at the point in his conversion where if people contend with him about our faith he defends it and gets into heated discussions with friends haha! He says he is becoming more christlike, without even noticing it. He is awesome.
The kids we are teaching will be baptised this Saturday morning. They we suggested that some of the men who ave been coming to the lessons baptised them, which they agreed. It's better for them to have that connection in the ward because we won't be here very long. So it was going smoothly but then one of the men backed out! So we will see who will be baptizing Patrisha.
We had a litteral m iricle happen a few nights ago. We were teaching one of our investigating families (Lamar, Paris, Barbra, and Monica) Monica is having some health issues and caught a cold on top of it which totally put her out of commission. She could barely lean up on the couch to talk. During the lesson she started crying and telling us of all the hardships she has been through, but said she trusted and truely loves God. We offered a priesthood blessing and after the blessing the room was quiet, Monica was smiling and crying, and Lamar (her husband) said "Wow. There is a different feeling in this room" he then went on the describe it and we testified it was the holy ghost. Monica sat up and started moving her limbs testing out her soar joints, and found that she felt a ton better and could now move around. Barbara was staring and Elder Smith and starting saying "I swear I have met you before you came to our door a week ago, where have I seen you before?" Then she kept saying how he looks like an angel. It was awesome! The power of the Priethood is real folks.
The weather here has gotten cold we are dropping into the low 60s and we have gotten out our sweaters. Feels like fall. It's all good and that but I've came down with a subtle annoying head cold. Its fun stuff walking the streets like a zombie.
