Week 9 - A baptism, a dog, a cheeseburger and loving the mission

The language is still a little hard but I've accepted I won't be good for a while.

Very sad to hear about Brother Sorenson. I remember him and he was a very kind and fun man. My condolences to their family.

There's this place called "Mamabritas" here. It's a hamburger place and it was really good. I forgot how much i loved cheeseburgers, lol. They have tacos here but they are just big taquitos and its still good. Also, they have maracuya juice, and that is really good too. I can tell I'm gaining weight because I never actually feel hungry, but I can always eat haha. So that's unfortunate.

Sometimes people yell stuff at us but I just say "Buenas" and keep walking, because I usually have no idea what they are saying, so its kinda funny.

I keep a journal and write in it every night. We are teaching people we have quite a few investigators and non-members. I actually had my first baptism on Saturday. It was super cool. We had 9 investigators attend so that was awesome to witness.

I absolutely love, love, love the mission, and I'm so happy to be here. I love the members and being able to teach people the gospel and see the joy that the Gospel brings into their lives.

Pictures: A dog at a members house where we eat every Sunday, Juice, and baptism.
