Dear Brother and Sister Nielsen,
We are thrilled to welcome your son to the Brasil Salvador Mission!
We all had a busy first day together. After meeting our new group of missionaries at the Salvador airport, we enjoyed lunch together at our apartment. President Lazenby interviewed each of the new missionaries. We then traveled to the Cabula Institute building where the staff missionaries and trainers warmly welcomed us. After some basic training, we introduced the new missionaries to their first companion, who is a wonderful, experienced missionary, and sent them off to their first area. We have great confidence in our trainers and believe your missionary will have a great start in the Salvador Mission.
