Morning everyone, hope this week was better than last. If not immerse yourself in the scriptures, it'll help
Was a great week, we've been helping our friend Kizzy prepare for her baptism this week and she's truly amazing! Most prepared person I've ever taught and it's soon cool to see her progress! Next week we will be having the baptisms of Michelliné (an old French lady) and Michael! He's the Michael from a few emails ago, he's back! We should hopefully have some more later this month too so please pray for Torey, Tracy, Matthew, and Lewis!
This week we had the opportunity to listen the the living prophet on the earth, the 12 apostles, and other leaders of the church. What an amazing opportunity we have to hear from them twice a year! I'd like to just reiterate a question that was said during the talk by Johnathon S Schmitt. He said that when he takes the sacrament he thinks "which one of Jesus Christ's names will I take upon mys3lf this week?" I think this is super powerful and instrumental for helping us to grow and progress on the gospel. Jesus Christ has many names, ALL of which are good. As we more fully take upon ourselves the names of Christ we can more fully become like Christ. I bear my testimony of this truth becsuse I have seen it time and time again out here on the mission. I know that Jesus Christ lives, I'm coming to know his voice more and more in my life each day as I strive to become like him. I know that God loves ALL of his children equally. I know this gospel is true and that the Book of Mormon is true. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
