What's up everyone! Hope you're all well! Things out here in New York have been good! It's always grinding but I love it. We are putting in a lot of work to try and change this area around and we're starting to see the change which is cool. Not to much happened this week, just lots of finding and teaching. We did have zone conference which was so awesome!! I love zone conference, we get to learn the doctrine from Pres. During it we talked about the difference between a testimony and conversion
Having a testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ does not mean we are converted to it. Being converted requires action, diligence, and a willingness to do what the Lord asks of us. Conversion is truly having the desire to serve God and our fellow brothers and sisters and to desire to chose the right not just because it's right or we have to, but because we love God and his gospel. When we are truly converted that's that's we see the change In ourselves.
Mosiah 5: 1-2
1 And now, it came to pass that when king Benjamin had thus spoken to his people, he sent among them, desiring to know of his people if they believed the words which he had spoken unto them.
2 And they all cried with one voice, saying: Yea, we believe all the words which thou hast spoken unto us; and also, we know of their surety and truth, because of the Spirit of the Lord Omnipotent, which has wrought a mighty change in us, or in our hearts, that we have no more disposition to do evil, but to do good continually
When we are converted to the Lord, our desires change and we align our will with his. We find more peace, more joy, and more happiness in our lives. I testify of the power of personal conversion to the Savior Jesus Christ and his gospel. I have had a mighty change of heart in my life and have seen the fruits of it and its been wonderful! God loves you, Jesus Christ lives, the Book of Mormon is true and this is his church. In the name of Jesus Christ Amen
