What's up guys!
Things out here in NY are good! Sorry I haven't written in a while, been super busy. But I'm in Manhattan now! The temple is my church building which is cool. The area is difficult for sure, but it's cool. Nothing the Lord can't handle. We have been grinding out here for sure. This area hasn't baptized in a little while but we have one this week! Pray for Prucilla! We have seen a lot of success here! The Lord provided so many miracles! Not a ton has happened, just trying to change the area around so we've been working hard. To answer the title my first pday we went to a whole bunch of fancy stores and I felt super out of place. My comp is loaded tho so he was at home. He's awesome, his name is Elder Nicholson and he's from New Mexico. So we got Louis Vuitton cologne samples for free which is dope cuz now I smell really good. All in all I'm good!
Spiritual thought for this week comes from 3 Nephi 18: 18 "Behold, verily, verily, I say unto you, ye must watch and pray always lest ye enter into temptation; for Satan desireth to have you, that he may sift you as wheat." In a world full of temptations and so much unrest, we need to always remember to do the little things. By small and simple things are great things brought to pass. So remember to pray each morning and night, read the scriptures each day, go to church every Sunday. As you do these simple things, you will have the strength to fight whatever is going on in both the world and your own personal lives! I know Jesus Christ lives. I know he is the savior of the world and my best friend. I know that he is waiting for each and every one of us to come to him, no matter where we are on the covenant path. We can always give up something more or do something more. So I invite each of you to ponder on something you can give to the Lord today to be a more consecrated disciple of him. I promise you will be happier and feel more of God's love in your life as you do so. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
