So this week has really gone by fast and I dont have too much to say.
So I thought I would just share a favorite scripture. This week I have
really been loving Alma 34. I hope you all can check it out this week.
It talks alot in verses 15-17 about 'Fe para el arrepentimiento' or
faith unto repentace, something like that. Anyways, I really have been
focusing on that this week. As missionaries we try to help people to
have faith in Jesus christ and to repent. These scriptures really show
how they go hand in hand. We need to trust in the Lord and in his
atonement and really have the faith that he will help us, and that
through his gospel we can change and become a better person. It says
'potente cambio' 3 verses in a row. I think sometimes in life we dont
like change, we get used to the routine in life because it is
comfortable. But when we show our faith through action, faith unto
repentance we will have great changes in our lives. I invite you all
to read this chapter and think of what faith unto repentance means to
you.
Well I guess this week we had lots of success. We have been finding a
lot of people to teach and seeing lots of progress. I have one quick
story for you guys. So I have a friend named Pier that came to church
for the first time on Sunday. He got there a few minutes late so we
were already singing the opening hymn. Instead of sitting down next
to us, he walks in with a little briefcase and some really nice shoes
and kneels down in the middle of the hymn and starts praying! It was
so awesome! The bishop looked at my companion and I and gave us a
thumbs up. It was super cool, but he really likes the church so that
was good. It was an awesome week and this week is going to be even
better because the prophet is coming to Concepción!!! :)
