"Elder, I know you! YOU were the missionary in my dream!"
Bonjour Toutes les mondes!
This week you would probably think that i would say something about general conference but we have not yet had the chance to hear it but i will do my best to download it and talk about it next week! In other news i just had my last birthday is a full-time missionary in the Ivory Coast and it is wild how quickly the time passes when you are embarked in a good cause, i honestly feel like I'm still in the summer of 2018 just because its like... always summer!
In this past week we have received a group of youth to teach and although they are quite rambunctious group my companion and i have managed to prepare them all and we have their baptismal date fixed and nearly have taught all the lessons! Children may be tough but all the effort into to preventing so they will wont have to do as much repenting is worth it.
A funny thing happened this week with my companion, he had a lady tell him that he was getting bigger and he was not happy at all and then later that same night he took a shower and before putting his shirt on he was staring at his stomach very sadly and i walked in the room and i asked him if what the woman said is true and he nodded his head saying he had received a second testimony and then he said that's because i just ate! Then we both laughed and then he got serious and said no really its because i ate😂
This week we also had a wonderful experience in our area. Our branch president said that he had a dream about a family friend that when he went to church and knocked on the door it was her that opened the door with all her children there too. He then went to look for the lady to tell her about his dream and she found him first to say that she had had a dream that 3 people came to her house dressed in a white shirt and tie to preach to her the Gospel and one was a tall white man. We eagerly went to visit the woman and when she saw us approaching she had a childish smile that spread across her face and when sat down and introduced ourselves she said to me "Elder, i know you! you were the missionary in my dream!". The mission is wonderful opportunity to see how the Lord works and i am so grateful to be a part of it!
