Christmas and Transfers!
December 28th:Dear Mom and Dad, I am training for the third time =) I will be receiving my new companion tomorrow! So I will email tomorrow and tell you all about it.December 31st:Dear friends and family,This past week was great! I got to skype some of you and I got Christmas letters from others and I feel really loved. You are all incredible and I want you to know I was praying and thinking about you this Christmas, I hope this next year is even better than this one. Make it a great one!
So, sad news.. the mission stole my companion Elder Gatto from me. I really really got along well with him. I really got along with Elder Aguirre too! But, I only got a short amount of time with each of them. The good news is, that I will have the opportunity to train again, third time is a charm! I am now with my third companion in El Parque, Elder Knuth! He is from Las Vegas, Nevada and it is fun being with him! He is just a big teddy bear, that loves being nice to everyone. But he can't understand Spanish yet. So, I am charged with teaching him the language and teaching him how to be a missionary! I am excited about that. Also, I was made a district leader. In other words, I will get the chance to serve other missionaries and help them in their work. I am excited to do that! I just cannot wait for this transfer!
My thought for you all comes from my buddy Milo. He pointed out that "mas" means more in Spanish, so Christmas means More Christ! That really is how it should be, Christmas should be a time to focus in Christ and let Him be an even bigger part of our lives. I am glad it happens December 25th, because it happens right as a new year is about to begin. I hope you all can find out how to have more Christ in your life! Make goals and plans to follow Him this year. Get closer to Him! Serve well! I love you all.
