Week 17: On to the next transfer

Hey everyone!
This week I taught my first Hip Hop class in Kielce!! It was a super success! We had 7 people total in the class and they all had a great time! We taught the choreography and then sat everyone down in a circle and talked about who the missionaries are and what we are doing in Poland teaching! It was so much fun getting to meet them all and dance! Tomorrow is our next class, and I am VERY excited to teach them this new choreography I made this week! The message we want to teach is about Gods plan of happiness for us!!! I cant wait! I think it will be so much fun. Haha Polish Dance Vocabulary is super new to me though! I need to keep working on that.

This week my companion told me that Poland is the size of New Mexico... WHAT?!
I thought that this country was alot bigger than a single State in America.๐Ÿ˜‚ Blew my mind! There are still 40,000,000 people, so that makes up for the small size of the country itself.

This next week looks like it's going to be really busy with Zone Confrence and some meetings. The new missionaries are coming in on Tuesday! I'm super excited to meet them.

Luckily this week I didnt have to eat any head cheese, but I got stuck eating alot of sausage and pierogi. I feel like I'm that little kid in Nacho Libre who says, "Why cant we ever just have like a SALAD." This week at the store I bought some great salads, I can't wait to eat them. ๐Ÿ˜‚

The sun has all but disappeared in Kielce. The sun is rising now about 7 and setting around 3. Most of the days are very cloudy too! Winter is also coming in fast! No snow quite yet, a few flurries down here but for the most part it is just brutally cold! The best part is its going to get a whole lot colder, haha!๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

This week these verses from the New Testament helped me through some difficult days. Having faith as a missionary is a different experience than I've ever had before in my life. I have to rely on the Lord each day to deliver and help me, and the only way I can recieve that divine help is by doing all I can possibly do first, in faith, then the blessings come. This week the trial was alot longer than I was expecting, and I didnt get the help I thought I needed when I wanted it. Instead I had to keep pushing throughout the week. I'm still pushing. I'm just trying to have faith that whatever the reason for this is, there is a purpose and the blessings will he great.

1 Peter 3
7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
14 But and if ye suffer for righteousnessโ€™ sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled;
15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
16 Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.
17 For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing.

There have been so many crazy experiences that I'll probably hold off on telling you all until a better time! ๐Ÿ˜‚ But dont worry, I'm writing them down!

I'm trying to demonstrate more faith each day, but truly some days are harder than others are! Welcome to dirty old, mundane living! ๐Ÿ˜‚ Even missionaries have to experience it! I am grateful for the growth which I cant really see myself but I know is talking place. I'm grateful for the opportunity is it to be a missionary and to refine my life. It is so important to me. I love you all. Have an awesome weekโ˜ƒ๏ธโ„
