Week 9!

Dang! This week has been the Best Week by far! Tuesday was the worst but all the other days totally made up for it!

Wednesday I went on splits with the Zone Leader and I got to speak English and all the families I met were so beautiful!

Thursday we had splits again but this time I was the Senior companion!!!!!! But wait there's more! With Elder Zuniga! Both of us combined had less than 6 weeks experience but we did not let that stop us! We had a goal of 5 new people to teach but we worked our butts off and we found 9 of them!!! I was so happy all of that day and I really got to experience the mission in a way I hadn't before.

Sunday we had a Ton of new attendants and we found another nuevo with the Hermana we found on Thursday so technically we found 10 Nuevos being Nuevos ourselves! It was a real miracle but I know that it's because we really had to rely on our faith because we really had only that to rely on. All of our families are progressing so fast and we're about to have buckets of baptisms very soon!

We had a baptismal interview with President Spjut and afterwards I got to tell him about my experience with Elder Zuniga and he started going off on my companion and it was hilarious! He asked Elder Alfaro what the lesson was that he needed to learn and he said that Faith and Animo or enthusiasm is better than Experience and I testify to that. With faith we can work miracles and Double our goals that we have set for ourselves. I know that with Christ, all things are possible. This whole week has just been a Great big miracle for me and I can't wait for next week!

Shout out to all my CCM homies and if you want to send me an email, hit me up at zachary.mckinnon@myldsmail.net .

I love you all so much! The church is true!

Let me answer a few questions real quick.

Weather:
The weather is really warm here but I'm getting used to it. It seems to be getting more humid as we're starting to approach the wet season. The sun is hot and bright! XD

Food:
I had the first Latino style Spaghetti that I really liked yesterday! I love the food and I eat as much as I can. I thought I was gaining weight but now I'm not sure...

Writing:
Right now we email in a church building that's also the family history center.

Language:
Slow and steady. I can't understand people in the streets but when we're teaching and the spirit is there, I can understand a lot more and even understand a lot more than what they're saying with their words.
