Whew I have completed the time of a sister in the mission!
I hope that you all had a great week! We had our changes this last week so I had to say goodbye to a lot of friends. We are now only down to two Elders in España so our house is really empty. We had an alright week. We went on splits with some young men that are preparing to go on the mission. One is named José who was inactive for a long time and he reactivated himself a little while ago and now is a stud. Each week we are giving a Dare to our zone to help them to reach higher levels and stay focused. This week we are going to have a fellowshipping night (something like that) with each priority family that they have (usually 5 families). We are going to have a ton of meetings this week so we hope that even with less time, we can still be exemplar for the zone. The last time we had these meetings, we were blessed with a surprise baptism. I hope that that is a trend. XD
Yesterday was the one year mark of my convert Kathya Campos Diaz of being baptized. She is still really active in the church and is preparing to go on a mission as well. I am so proud of her and her courage and strength because I know it hasn't been easy for her.
We talked with a family that is slowly falling inactive. there is a teen that is about 15 years old who seems to be rebelling against his mom but doesn't seem to see that he is bringing his younger brother down with him. It reminded me of myself before the mission. I wish I could have been a better example for my family and I wish I could have loved them more while I was there with them. Now I have to wait a little while more to show them how much I love them. I remembered a scripture in the bible. I hope that we can all be that obedient person.
Porque así como por la desobediencia de un hombre los muchos fueron constituidos pecadores, así también por la obediencia de uno, los muchos serán constituidos justos. Romanos 5:19
For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. Romans 5:19
Well I've got a ton of photos this week. I love you all a ton! Remember to be courageous! Read your book of Mormon and say your prayers. God loves you so much that He sent His Only Begotten Son to suffer and die for you. It goes so much deeper than that but you will understand more if you keep reading and studying the Book of Mormon. I know that this is the true church of Jesus Christ. There is no other on the face of the earth. I am so grateful to be a part of it. I invite you if you do not already have a testimony but have only the smallest desire to believe, let that desire work in you until you experiment with the word. Please please please ask of God if you are not sure. I know that He will answer.
Love you all so much!--
P.S. I am a grandpa again! Elder Aldana is training!
