Week 58

Hello mine turtle,
So these past TWO weeks have been pretty great. Last Pday we played futbol basically all day! We got up early to play futbol, we had a small break to go write to the family and then we went and played more futbol. After that, all the other people came to play more futbol at 3. we basically played from 6 in the morning until 430 in the afternoon! We were really sore afterwards but it was a good time.
We are almost going to have a baptism and we are super excited. Her name is Rina Olla and she is super awesome. She really loves going to church and everything and she has made a ton of progress. She used to be super addicted to coffee but she really has strengthened herself and is just such a special spirit.
These two weeks have been weeks of progress. We haven't been having huge changes in our numbers, lessons, and success but as I've been trying to focus more on the mission and what I can do personally to improve and actually do it, I've been able to see the small changes every week. Slowly and steadily we are increasing our effectiveness. It just goes to show that goals really do give us the space and the direction to make the changes that we want in our lives.
The other week I went to San Salvador for migration stuff which was pretty fun. We had to get up pretty early and we got back really really late which was not fun. On the bus ride from Ahuachapan to Juayua, I talked with 2 tourists, one girl was from Michigan and the other from Germany but she spoke perfect English, and it made me realize how grateful I am to be in this mission instead of any other mission. If all the people are like those two tourists in the other missions, I do not think I would survive. It really is such a huge blessing to be serving here in El Salvador where the people are already used to people sharing their religion and usually always have a Christian background. The German chick was Catholic but is now Atheist. She had an interesting point of view concerning mission work. She used some choice words to help us understand how she felt. XD
I bought a dope machete... but no one has let us give service since I bought it... hahaha
My companion sprained his ankle playing futbol on Saturday. A sister missionary kicked him hard and he fell over so he had to rest all day but I got to work hard with an RM that served in Ecuador. Learned some crazy stuff from him.
that's about all the craziness from these last two weeks but I hope that you all have a great week! Saluuuu

Oh yeah I saw the SEA! so this last week I discovered that we can actually see the ocean in some of the more mountainy parts of our area. When we went to Santa Ana we had the prettiest view ever of the sea. SUPER COOL. I didn't think I would ever have that chance until after the mission so #Blesst haha Love you all!
