Week 55 - Patricia got baptized!

Hello Everybody!
Happy October! This week was really great! By far the highlight of the week was the baptism of Patricia! So after much confusion, craziness and last minute planning, as well as filling up part of the font with a hose, Patricia got baptized Sunday after church. Most of this week had been spent teaching her the last couple of things and getting everything ready for her baptism. It is awsome to be able to bring families together, and hopefully we will be able to continue to bring that family together by starting to teach her siblings! Loretta is still working towards her baptismal date that is coming up here in just a couple short weeks!

I guess one cool story this week was when we were walking around late at night, and it was pretty dark. We were walking to somebody's house to see if they were home, they weren't. So we turned away to start heading back towards our house. Then we got this prompting to go and talk to this guy that was back down the street sitting down. It was just this Hispanic guy sitting down on the side of a wall, in the dark, bumping to some Spanish music. It was a little iffy, but we pressed on and went and talked to him. He ended up being somebody that we had started teaching when I first came into the area and then we lost contact with him. I didn't recognize him at first (because of the black clothing and the dark) but we were able to reconnect which was aweosme. He was heading out of town, but it was just a tender mercy of the week to be able to see him!

Well do you know what is coming up this week? Yes!! General Conference!!! I am beyond excited for Gereral Conference to listen to the words of the Prophet! I also can't believe that this will be my 3rd one on my mission! I invite each one of you to watch, pray about, and study General Confernce. I know we can be blessed through studying the words of the Lord, and I know that they are the words of the Lord because they are spoken by he who has authority to say so.

I love you all very much! I hope you have a great week!

Transfer news comes next week, so P-Day on Tuesday!
