Week 45 - Trio-training!
Hello Everybody!
I hope that you have all had a wonderful week! So once again, I am emailing on a Tuesday because of transfers! The verdict on transfers is that I am going to be staying in the Lynnfield, Massachusetts Ward with Elder Larsen. But the fun thing is that we will be getting a brand new missionary on Thursday! So we will be in a trio until Elder Larsen goes home in a couple of weeks. He goes home mid-transfer on Aug 17th. It will be really fun, and I am really excited!
Really though, not a whole ton of stuff happened this past week. One cool story was on Wednesday. So this week we saw a trend of people just not being home or not showing up to lessons, which is okay because they have agency, but we want to teach them! But anyway, on Wednesday one of our lessons fell through and so we were in this big apartment area so we started to walk around it and we saw a house with a little white dog tied to the door. Then the next house down was a lady sweeping her portch. As we proceed to walk over to talk to the lady, the little dog jumped up and ran to us so we could pet it, or so we thought. It then closed its jaw on my companions pants. It wasn't that big and it was chained up, so we were able to get away without too much damage done! We still talked to the lady and she ended up being a person who was baptized at like age 9, but none of her family were members and she is like 30-40 now. Hopefully we can keep working with her!
Sorry this is a shorter email this week. I know that our Heavenly Father is aware of us each individually, and I know if anybody needs anything that I encourage you to turn to Him in prayer and it shall be given!
