This week was very very very crazy! It was very good though! I am not even sure where to start, so I guess I will just say a little bit about what happened each day.
So Tuesday and Wednesday were filled with a lot of packing up and cleaning our apartment so that we could move out. In between that there were a couple lessons, some goodbyes, and some finding. I am not sure if I said this last week, but we were going to be having another general authority coming this week on Thrusday. So Wednesday, after we had gotten completely packed and moved out, we drove down and stayed the night in Exeter preparing for that on Thursday.
On Thursday, the entire mission was in Manchester waiting for the General Authority. We still didn't know who it was going to be. It turned out to be Elder Bennett of the Seventy. He had come and spoke to our mission about two years ago and he had just had the overwhelming urge to come and speak to us on Thursday. It was a fantastic meeting, and I learned a ton from it! After the meeting, becasue we were pretty much homeless, we went and worked up in Concord NH for the evening. There was big event and it was a lot of fun to go and talk to people up there. Then we (The only 4 other Elders going down to Mass and I) got picked up and we stayed in the mission home for the night. That night we also got a lot more info on our new areas an our new companions.
Friday was the big day! That morning went down the Lynnfield, Massachusetts and met all of the missionaries from the Boston Massachusetts mission that were coming up to the NHMM. So originally I thought I was going to be serving in the Billerica Mass Ward, but it turns out I am in the Lynnfield Mass Ward. My companion's name is Elder Larsen. He is from Wellsville UT, and he has been out on his mission for a little past 22 months. So I know I will only have him for this 1 and only transfer! He is coming from the Boston Mission. So in total there are seven missionaries from the Boston Mission that have been transfered into the New Hampshire Manchester Mission. But all seven of those missionaries either only have 1 or 2 transfers left in their missions.
And then Saturday and Sunday have been great to go out and get to work! I already love these people! It is amazing how much love can through yourselves from the Lord. I love this area already. So my new area covers a pretty big area. It covers like Salem, Woburn, Peabody, and a bunch of towns and cities inbetween. The lifestyle is a whole lot different here than in Maine.
Well that is it from me this week, I love you all! I know the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ is true!!
My new home address is: 9124 Crane Brook Way, Peabody Massachusetts
But if you have any doubt, send it to the one below!
