Week 38 - Flu Game!
Hey Everybody!
I hope that you all had a really great week! My week was pretty slow until Friday, then it got really crazy! We had our zone conference on Tuesday, which is always good. I will tell ya'll a little bit more about later in the week though.
So on Thursday, I started to feel sick, like I had caught a cold. Usually they want you to get better faster by resting up, but we were just super busy the next couple days so I was unable to rest. We also saw a ton of miracles come out of it too though!
So on Friday we set up a booth at the farmers market here in Brunswick. The market started at 8, so we decided to be out there at 8. Well we went and started setting up and then someone told us that we had to be registered with the town office. So it was hectic trying to get over to the town hall and get registered, but it happened and we were able to have a great booth! We were able to use the Book of Mormon and try and find people by the power of the Book of Mormon! We were able to hand out about 15 copies of the Book of Mormon during the time of our booth!
Then right after the booth we went on exchanges with the Zone Leaders, and Elder Turner and I were able to find seven new people to start teaching in the remainder of the night! It was such a miracle, and it is awesome how much power the Book of Mormon has! So by the end of the day we had handed out out between 20-25 copies of the Book of Mormon in the town of Brunswick! Even though I would not suggest being out on the streets for 12 hours talking to people while being sick, I know that the Lord helped me through every bit of it and it was such a great time!
