Week 31 - More snow! In April!
Hey Everybody!
I hope that you all had a great week! I had a pretty great week! We have been able to get some pretty good spring weather, except for Friday when it snowed! It wasn't very much at all, but I would much rather the snow stay out of April, or at least go over to Blanding!
This week didn't have too many things that were super out of the ordinary or eventful. We were able to work this week and find a couple of new people to teach. One of the fun experiences that we had was on Friday with the snow. I was on exchange with our district leader in my area. We had a lot of plans to walk around town and talk to people on the streets, but because the snow nobody was on the streets to talk to so we had to adjust our plans. We went over to one of the shopping places in Topsham and looked for people to talk to in the stores, which is what we do a lot of times when there is nobody to talk to anywhere else. We had seen a lady all over the shopping area all night, but never had a chance to talk to her. Well we were walking out to our car to head back home for the night and we saw this lady, Grace, sitting in her car looking at something on her phone with her head on her window. Well us being crazy missionaries and wanting to talk to people, we knocked on her car window. She was very freaked out for a minute, but once she saw us then she rolled down her window and we were able to talk to her. She ended up being really nice and willing to learn more about the gospel!
In church this week it was fun to see all of the new changes being made and to see all of the excitement from all of the members out here! That is about it from me this week, but I love you all and I hope you all have a great week!
