Week 25 - The Wall didn't got build in a day!

Hello Everybody!

I hope all of your guy's week was great! As far as the weather in Maine I would have to say that we got just about everything and it was good! On Wednesday it was like 60 degrees and it was SO awesome! Then, after that it got colder and colder, then it eventually snowed on Sunday! So we got both ends of the spectrum this week!

So the title of the email today was based off a dinner we had with some members. They had bought us Chinese food (There are a ton of Chinese places out here, like a lot haha). We had fortune cookies with our meal, of course. Bro. Hill opened his fortune cookie and it said "The Wall didn't got build in a day". This a kinda funny fortune cookie, but I don't know why, but we were just dying laughing! It was a good time!

A really cool story from this week was when Elder Nielson, my companion, actually lost his name tag. We had gone to a lesson with one of our investigators, and he had to cancel (which unfortunately happens more times than we would like). But on our way out we decided to shovel his walk. It was on Sunday, so it had been snowing for a while. This snow storm was a very wet and dense snow. So while we were shoveling, Elder Nielson's tag fell off without either of us knowing. After we were done, we walked back towards the apartment. When we got back he realized that he didn't have his tag anymore. So we turned back around and started to search for his tag. We got all the way back to the investigator's house and he was outside. We were able to talk to him for about 45 minutes and built a really good relationship with him. We were able to shovel a couple of neighboring houses with him and it was just great! It is amazing how the Lord can direct us through random ways!

That is about it from me this week! I love you all and I hope that you have a great, fantastic week!
