Elder Broekhuijen

The Rest of Week 11!

Hey everybody!

It feels like just a couple days ago when I just last emailed you guys! Well even though it has not been that long stuff has still happened! We went on exchanges with Exeter, Zone Leaders, on Friday and Saturday. Elder Augir came with me to Rochester and Elder B went to Exeter with Elder Ferrell.

One cool experience while on exchanges was when we were walking back from trying to contact some people (That in itself is a whole new story). We were walking and we saw PJ walking down the street. PJ is one of the guys we see on the street all of the time and he is super friendly, but he never wants to learn. To describe PJ I will just say that he is on big brotha from the hood. Enough said haha. But this time we decided to try to invite him to learn again. We shared the Light the World initiative with him and he said yes to meet with us! So we will be teaching PJ tomorrow!

Something else cool was that in Sacrament meeting this week Elder B and I did a special musical number. Elder B sang "Jesus, Savior Pilot Me" while I got to accompany him. Then we also got to teach gospel principles class because the teacher was sick!

I will leave you all with a thought from Mormon 9:21 "Behold, I say unto you that whoso believeth in Christ, doubting nothing, whatsoever he shall ask the Father in the name of Christ it shall be granted him; and this promise is unto all, even unto the ends of the earth." I can Testify of the power of prayer. I know that if you go in with a desire to know something and with hope and faith that the Lord with answer you, it will be given unto you.

I hope you all have a fantastic week!
