Week 38- Finding February, pricks and ping pong

สวัสดีครับ สบายดีไหมครับ

This week was insane. This week, being the beginning of February, marked the beggining of Finding February, in which it is our mission goal to find one new person to teach a day. So we went hard. We had alot of good appointments with people this week, and we also went way hard finding people this week to be able to meet our goal. It was way fun.

This week we had a few fun experiences too. Saturday night, we had a feeling to go up to this house and see if we could talk to the people there. We did, and the guys there were slightly drunk, so of course they let us come and hang out with them. After refusing the liquor they were offering us multiple times, they offered us food instead, and offered us straight prick too. Prick in thai means chillies, and I asked the guys if I could eat one. They were all like, "no don't do it don't do it! It's too hot for you!" but then I did the unthinkable. I ate it. They were all incredibly shocked a ฝรั่ง just ate a Prick straight up! Then, elder Hoban did the unthinkable. He ate two Pricks!! They all went ballistic. Well after introducing who we were and what we do, and getting a drunken agreement for a return appointment for next week, we went on our way. The second we were out of their sight, Elder Hoban spits out the two pricks. He was like, "I knew I couldn't handle them, so i didn't chew them." it was great. Totally pulled one over on the Thais. Haha we rock!

Also this week elder Hoban and I challenged some thais to a ping pong match. We lost. We are definitely out of practice... That's all I'm going to say about that.

This week I read In Heleman 5:12,
"And now, my sons, remember, remember that it is upon the rock of our Redeemer, who is Christ, the Son of God, that ye must build your foundation; that when the devil shall send forth his mighty winds, yea, his shafts in the whirlwind, yea, when all his hail and his mighty storm shall beat upon you, it shall have no power over you to drag you down to the gulf of misery and endless wo, because of the rock upon which ye are built, which is a sure foundation, a foundation whereon if men build they cannot fall."

I know I've shared this before, but it's such a good scripture. Build yourself on christ, and nothing can cause you to fall.
จริงๆ. Keep praying, keep being awesome! Love yall! Have a great week!

Love ya!
