This week was pretty easy as far as work. On Sunday we went to church and there were more tourists in the ward than there were members. After church we went and ate with a family that is in our ward. After that we were going to meet up with Elder Jensen and Elder Prior at another members house. When we got there the members fed us again. Later that night the secretaries and the AP's were invited to spend Christmas eve with the mission president. We ate there too, a lot. We ate 3 flipping dinners. Every time a thought about taking another bite I got sick.
Now I do a lot of work in the offices so I am not out much. When we are out we do a lot of work with the less active members. We have been seeing three different families this week who are less active and one of the new converts just baptized his daughter. The sister missionaries in the ward were teaching her after her parents were baptized. Right now there are 6 missionaries in one ward.
This morning all of the secretaries played basketball in the church gym. I am getting more exercise here than I did in Chetumal. I am also gaining back all the weight I lossed. I eat a lot more here, and the food is way better. Can't complain too much here.
The two pics of me and my companion is of us spending Christmas at Carl's Jr. Oh yeah!
The other two are of the house we live in.
He lives 7 blocks from the church.
He's been busy with all the new transfers and writing to the parents of the new kids coming out when they arrive. He sends the pictures of them with the president and his wife to the families. Calling missionaries and recording all the transfers.
