This week I got my new companion. His name is Elder Gallegos and he was in an area in Cancun before coming here. He has been out about a year and a half.
We have six investigators this week. One of them we have been working with for a while. Her name is Sarahi. She is twenty one and is the girlfriend of the son of the elders quorm president. Neither one of them are active and yesterday morning we were talking with them and they said that they would come to church but they didn't.
We just got two new investigators and their names are Nancy and Manuel. They have a little boy and a baby. We are pretty sure that they have a strong desire to know the truth. Manuel works for a member so he gets sunday's off and already knows a little bit about the church.
The president came to Chetumal this past week and are zone had the Christmas devotional with him and his wife.
We were able to watch most of the Christmas Devotional in the Chapel of the stake but we weren't able to finish it because we have to be in our houses by 9:25. This week hasn't been too crazy, no more food poisoning so that's good.
Last night we had a stake devotional that we went to and the stake president had all of the missionaries stand at the front and talked to the congregation about how we miss our families and stuff because it's Christmas and everyone in the stake said that they will let the missionaries spend Christmas with them. So we have a pretty wide selection of homes to go to.
Slowly but surely he is getting the language and can carry on a conversation by himself.
