So this last tuesday we taught Bernard. We were supposed to teach him the first part of the plan of salvation. So I started teaching him with my comp and didn't even realize but we taught the whole plan of salvation haha but the spirit was there and he paid really good attention so all is well. Then we went to juniors to teach him and his mom said that his eye was hurt and was resting. So we asked her if we could give him a blessing and she agreed. Something that stuck out to me from the blessing that elder day gave was that all of this healing and all the blessings said were according to his faith. And I think that was exactly what he needed to hear cause then he wanted to study with us the next 3 days and ended up coming to church with us! Huge miracles and can't wait to see his baptism! we then went to an FHE with Elder Tuilagi and Elder Taua and a less active family. It was super fun and the family is half phillipino and speaks really good English! They fed us chickin, fish, spam, and rice and it was really good! Elder day tried his first fish eye and it was the funniest thing I have ever seen. He was gagging and almost threw up haha. He said the texture was super weird but that it tasted pretty good. Man I wish I recorded that whole thing.
Anyways this week I was listening to a talk from John by the way and it was super inspiring. He said instead of asking how close can we get to the edge before falling or pretty much, how bad can I be? to the question How good can I be? Why wouldn't you want to stay as far away from it as possible? Remember this is your eternal salvation! Do your best this week to come closer to christ and to remember the question, How good can I be? Love all have a good week!
