Yo Arkansas is freaking cold.
How are all of my favorite people doing? I hope all you guys have had an amazing week!
So week 2 is done and it has been amazing. There have been so many times where I have seen Heavenly Father's hand this past week guiding my companions and I. We are pretty close to setting baptismal dates with about 3 people. They all know the church is true and they are super excited to experience this happiness.
We had a Zone Conference this week and it was all day on Wednesday. It was really cool and interesting. I got a lot of things out of it and felt really good. I got a really good quote from Gordon B Hinckley.
"The best cure for weariness is the challenge of helping someone who is even more tired" -Gordon B Hinckley
We actually did a lot of cool service this week. We went to a different church that does a free lunch and a food drive. We got to hand out food and talk to people and eat some free food haha. It was nice to see how nice people are no matter what their circumstances are.
Another thing that showed how happy and nice people are no matter their circumstances is a little project we did throughout the week. We went around with a whiteboard and asked people how happy they are. We did it on a scale from 1-10 and most people were above a 6 and it was awesome. We would also ask what made them the happiest and most of the people said that their Families bring them the most happiness. I love my family and I'm so grateful for their love and support for me.
Now I have a scripture for you all about faith. It is Alma 32:2828 Now, we will compare the word unto a seed. Now, if ye give place, that a seed may be planted in your heart, behold, if it be a true seed, or a good seed, if ye do not cast it out by your unbelief, that ye will resist the Spirit of the Lord, behold, it will begin to swell within your breasts; and when you feel these swelling motions, ye will begin to say within yourselves—It must needs be that this is a good seed, or that the word is good, for it beginneth to enlarge my soul; yea, it beginneth to enlighten my understanding, yea, it beginneth to be delicious to me.
