This week has been absolutely wild. Right after i sent my last email, i found out i needed to go Lima to fill out some papers for my visa. Basically it turned out to be a vacation haha. We were there pretty much all the week, and we got to hang out with the Elders in the Lima East mission. The highlight was we got to hang out with all of our group in the CCM, and most of all we got to go Christmas caroling in the middle of Lima with all the missionaries there! Lima was actually such a culture shock, when we saw a McDonalds, we started to freak out. But Lima was so awesome, im so grateful for the opportunities we have to meet all these missionaries and do things like that. We also got to visit the Lima temple, and it was so beautiful!
We had transfers this week, me and my comp are both staying here, and we are so excited! We had to push the wedding of Liz and Levy back to this Saturday, so if we got transferred, we wouldnt have been able to see it, but here we are! Theyre so awesome and we are so happy for them!
As far as the food goes, actually I ate octopus.... really strange. It was one of the most exotic things ive eaten thus far. However, still really gross. I cried.
Overall, im good out here! Having a really good time and excited for the baptisms this week! Ill testify that the Lord truly does prepare people for us, and our joy will be so great when we find them. Although its hard, im so grateful to be out here. Till next week!
