Elder Leon

They’re getting married!

Hey everyone!
Another week down in the jungle! We have made some great progress this week! Time is flying, and we are having a great time with these people!

i think i mentioned last week how we have been teaching Liz and Levy, and how they have been really progressing. Their big obstacle in their progression was they needed to be married. We spent a lot of time this past week talking to them about it and they decided to get married! We get to be witnesses this Saturday, and we get to baptize Levy right after! We are so grateful for them and their testimonies and their willingness to serve and accept all our invitations. They are so wonderful and we have come to love them so much. We cant wait for this Saturday!

Basically life is pretty normal here. We had a multi zone conference in Jaen this week with our President. It was a really good time to hear from him and his wife and their counsel and get to hang out with all the other missionaries in Jaen. Ill share a bit of what they said, they said we have 2 years out here to give our all, and the rest of our lives to remember everything. Its really encouraged me to give my all out here.

As far as food goes out here this week, nothing too wild, i tried oysters for the first time and i really liked it! But overall the food situation is pretty wild here. Lets all pray for no more cow stomach this week am i right?

Overall im doing good out here! Thank you all for your prayers and love!
