Howdy yall, this week has been pretty exciting. Unfortunately Thomas was going to be baptized on sunday, but when we had the interview he wasn't all the way ready for it. It's a little sad, but he still came to church and we are still meeting with him, so He'll get baptized eventually.
However, one super cool thing is we talked with Alyssa in person. I pretty sure I mentioned her in a previous email. We have been talking over the phone for a minute, but we finally met in person! We read from the Book of Mormon, but we had to go real slow. She loves talking about the gospel, but no one in her family talks about that stuff so she doesn't understand a whole lot about what we were teaching. That's ok though because she is super excited to keep learning.
Next week is transfers and I'm pretty excited because I'm pretty sure I'm going to leave McMinnville. It's a great place and I love the people here, especially the ward, but i think I'm ready to move somewhere else. That way i can also start speaking Spanish more because this is a mostly English area.
That's basically it. I've been reading about captain Moroni lately and he is amazing! Like holy crap he's awesome! In alma 48:17 it says "Yea, verily, verily I say unto you, if all men had been, and were, and ever would be, like unto Moroni, behold, the very powers of hell would have been shaken forever; yea, the devil would never have power over the hearts of the children of men." Literally the coolest person ever
Anyways, read the Book of Mormon everyday, it's going to help you so much!!Love Y'all!!
