It has been a rather speedy week in in the 'Boro. The fall semester just ended at GSU which means all of the college kids have migrated home for the holidays. It is really quite peaceful. We did so more service with the Mormon Helping Hands on Saturday and that was cool as always. My shirt is absolutely wrecked, but I guess that will show how much work I actually did. THe thought that I would like to share with Y'all is on the spirit on Christmas. We often think of the decorations and the present, but then we go on to think of Christ's birth and that kind of stuff. I would like to say that while Christ's birth was an amazing event we sometimes forget the more important thing. His life, as we celebrate Christmas I would like to invite all of you to not only think about his birth, but also about his life. The significant things He did that changed this world forever. I know that Christ was born to the virgin Mary and then proceeded to live a sinless life so that He could atone for the sins of all mankind. What I would like for us to do is to strive to follow the example that He set for us in life. To me the purest form of following Christ is to love people. Love is a motivator that can help us accomplish anything with the help of God. Simply put I want you to go show your love for someone.
