Different but good..

I hope everyone's week was great! My first week in the new area has been good. Different but good.

Tuesday we did service at a thrift shop called fabulous finds. All the proceeds from it go to benefit a local women's shelter. Since the Elders had to drive up to Austin we are basically out of miles so we have been biking a lot. The weather has been really beautiful for it.

Wednesday we had a worldwide mission conference which was great to be a part of. They said that they hadn't had one in over a decade. It was a privilege to be a part of.

Thursday we had an interesting experience. We went our ward mission leaders practice to use the wifi to plan. We were in his office planning and we walked out and all of the lights were off and it was
dark. They had left and locked us in! It was pretty funny. That night we were able to meet Carma. An investigator that was in the area book. She is in the Air Force. We didn't have another male with us so we were just going to set an appointment with her and as we were about to leave she said "Can I ask you a question?" She asked it and we ended
up having a great plan of salvation lesson at her door. The spirit was very strong and she was so sincere.

Friday we had zone meeting which was great. Saturday was a special day. Jeannie took family names to the temple. I was able to go with my
papa and grandfather. The temple is so amazingly beautiful and it was such a spiritual experience.

Sunday we had stake conference and our stake split so I am now in a different stake and what will be a new zone. It was a good full week with some great and interesting experiences.

I love you.
