Leon Springs/Fair Oaks

Elder Muhlstein

I hope everyone had a happy Easter and was able to reflect on the Savior's Atonement. For us it was a bit of a slow week but a good one of course.

On Wednesday Elder Muhlstein and I quite a few people. On less active we visited was sister Powell. She is quite a bit older and stays in bed all day. We talked to her for a little while getting to know her and she was so funny. She asked us a few times where we were from. She also asked us how old we were and we told her. She laughed and said "oh the good ole days! Enjoy them! Don't pick a career to fast, have fun and eat corn nuts!" We both started laughing and then she gave us 2 bags of corn nuts. Haha then she yelled for her daughter and said "How old am I?" She told us she'll be kickin all the way down into the grave.

We met a lot of new people sharing the Easter video this week. That was fun.

I was studying Heleman 14 this week and as I was reading I noticed that Samuel repeats himself so many times saying "Believe in Christ and ye shall be saved." I wondered why he did. I went back to the beginning of the chapter and noticed the time period was 6 B.C. He was urgent with his crying repentance unto the people. We know we are in the last days. As members of the church we need to have that same urgency in crying this unto the people. It is our duty. I don't mean to preach to everyone but it's the truth!

I hope everyone has a wonderful week! I love you!
