...another great week in Boerne.

Good Morning! I hope y'alls week was good. It was another great week
in Boerne. We continue to see miracles as we strive to be the Lord's
instruments in his work.
Tuesday we had an appointment set up with a less active woman in the
ward. We went over and she let us right in. She told us her story. She
has been less active since she was a young girl but she feels like or
some reason she needs to come back. We realized that her knowledge of
the gospel and church is less than some investigators. We offered to
teach her all the lessons we teach to investigators and she gladly
accepted. She told us at the end that she has no idea how we had her
records. She said she hadn't been contacted by the church in years and
years. She was recently married and her husband isn't a member. I
don't think it's a coincidence.

On Thursday we had a zone meeting that President Slaughter came to. It
was great and filled with the spirit. It is always such a pleasure to
listen to President. We had interview with him afterwards which
unfortunately will be my last interview with him. Following zone
conference I went on exchanges with our district leader, Elder Zelaya,
to Kerrville. We had a couple lessons that night. One in Spanish. I
should know Spanish by now because of how many times we go to Spanish
lessons. I went to another one last week with the zone leaders and she
fed us menudo, mole, wuevos con chiles, frijoles, y tortillas. We were

One of the miracles we saw this week was yesterday. After our dinner
we had a few less actives that we had planned to stop by whom we
hadn't met yet. The first was brother Trejo. We stopped by and he
opened the door and welcomed us right in. He told us to sit down and
asked if we wanted some water. He got us some water and brought his
wife in. The whole time I was thinking "this guy is going to anti us.
This is too good to be true." They sat down and he told us a little
bit about themselves and then said "my wife is Christian but doesn't
know anything about the church. Teach her." We looked at her and said
"yeah I don't really know anything but I want to learn." We were
shocked. We taught her and she was completely receptive. He invited us
to come back Thursday to teach her more. Before we taught her he told
us the same thing sister Gonzalez did. He said "I don't know how y'all
got my records. I put my work address down as my new address." The
Lord really works in mysterious ways.

The Lord is harvesting his work. There are so many around us who need
the gospel. Share it with them. I love you. Have a great week.

Elder Baker
