Elder Trent

I feel like I am a robot

I feel like I am a robot repeating myself every week but it's beenanother great week in the work of the Lord. We are seeing miracleseverywhere and finding many who seem to be prepared. This past Monday after we had finished emailing Elder Trent And I wereleaving the church on a little before 5. We walked out out of thechurch and I reached in my pocket just to find emptiness. No keys. They had fallen out of my pocket and slipped down in the couch. Wellnow we were locked out and we had no phone. We decided to go knock onsome homes around the church to borrow somebody's phone. The firstdoor we knocked on opened having a woman with a big smile on her faceright behind it. She invited us right in. Thankfully we were dressedin proselyting clothes and she recognized us right away. We introducedourselves as missionaries and asked if we could quickly use our phonebecause we had locked our keys in the church. She told us "Of Course!"Handed us the phone and asked "The Mormon church?" We replied and shetold us she had been baptized into the church in 3rd grade and thatshe loves it but hasn't been in a long time. We invited her to comejoin us and she told us she has been giving much thought to it latelyand that she would love to. She gave us her information to pull herrecords here. She has a young family. We are excited to work withthem. We are continuing to meet with many I have mentioned in the past. Onewe are still working with is Maricruz. This past Friday we were ableto teach her about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. While teaching her shedecided that it is time for her to be baptized. We are super excitedfor her to be baptized on the 20th!Y'all have a good week!Elder Baker
