Week 65 Thanksgiving pizza dinner

Hey all,

Well this week wasn't anything special. We went and got pizza for Thanksgiving. We also got a lot of solid contacts this week. We will meet them all through out this next week. I'm really hoping to get this area going more. It’s kind of frustrating to not have anyone to see.

We set two baptismal dates for the zone baptism. We set Nana and Portia. Portia should be on that day but Nana I'm not sure. He is so busy with work that I don't know if we will be able to meet with him enough before the interview has to be done. I’m keeping my fingers crossed though. He's a good guy and he's so excited about it.

We pounded fufu on Tuesday and the sisters came and ate with us for brother Tettehs birthday. It was nice but my hands are still sore. I pounded all the fufu for like an hour it sucked!

Saturday we had a really good day! We got a lot of contacts and taught a couple new people. At 4 the office elders called and told brother Tetteh he needed to have his things packed they were coming to get him in an hour to take him to Senchi to be with someone else. We were all kind of upset we were having alot of fun! Oh well, it’s part of the work and we’ll see him at zone conference in a couple weeks.

Sunday we found a new lady and taught her and we gave Stephen the priesthood and ordained him to be a priest. Next week he will bless the sacrament. He's so nervous but also excited. It’s so cool to see how strong of a convert he is! He said he wants to start going out with us too so we told him to start looking for people he wants to teach. He’s a cool guy!

Today we went to a zone activity. It was the most unorganized thing I've ever been to. We stood around for an hour waiting for the zone leaders to decide if we were going to walk or take a car to the beach. Then we waited for like an hour for them to decide whether we would eat it there or at the chapel. It was so long and I'm sun burnt so bad. I'm glad its over...
Happy birthday Kandas!

That’s all for this week. Love you all,
Elder Orton
The pictures this week are indomie or ramen noodles that I made with mayo on top. Elder Tetteh and I pounding fufu. The sisters and I at the beach. (That's the only picture I got from there.)
