Elder Oldroyd

Week 41- Dorene the hedgehog

Hey everyone,

This week was a good week. We taught a lot of lessons and have the 4 people that are going to be baptized ready for baptism. They will be this coming Sunday. This week we plan to set at least 6 more dates. That means we’ll have 16 set hopefully. We extended a date to Stevo this week. Not neccesarily a date but we asked if he would be baptized and he said he would think about it and talk to Akpene. We need to get more lessons taught to him and I think he will be ready. Oldroyd and I have been working our tails off this week. We come home at like 930 every night and go right to bed. It’s crazy! He is looking forward to going out with a boom so we’re working on making that happen.

Saturday night we went on a little ride around our community looking for mangos and we found a hedgehog. We caught it and took it home. Now we have an apartment pet! We named it Dorene so that’s pretty cool!

Sunday we gave 5 blessings. 1 with oil to a sick lady in our branch and 4 blessings of comfort to some boys who have exams this week. it was a nice week!

Love you all and have a good week!
