Tanabe, Tanabe Branch

Week 44: Hello transfers my old friend

This transfer has been very interesting.

-today is the end of the transfer! I will probably be leaving, since I just finished my third transfer in the area. Little sad because Tanabe is a wonderful place and I love my companion, but I also kinda want to go somewhere new. We'll see what ends up happening.

-this transfer we taught over 140 lessons, handed out 122 copies of the Book of Mormon, found around 40 new investigators, and also still managed to eat 3 square meals a day. It's been a pretty busy transfer!

-we might have talked to everyone in the city.

This week has been very interesting:

- one of the less active members we've been working with texted us and said that he's actually a Jehovah's Witness. Then when we went to find his records in the branch, we couldn't find a membership record number. We are now unsure whether he is a less active member or an investigator. So we have to figure that out.

- For most of the week it seemed like, due to extenuating circumstances, the entire branch presidency wasn't going to make it to church. So, we were given the assignments to teach second hour, perform a musical number, play the hymns, conduct the music, and possibly conduct sacrament meeting. Luckily the first councilor was able to make it to church, so we didn't have to conduct Sacrament meeting. It was still pretty interesting.

-I've eaten a lot of peanut butter. I love peanut butter.

-had some great lessons with a few progressing investigators, but also had to drop a couple of investigators as well. So, it has been emotionally up and down.

Today's been pretty interesting, as well:

-We got haircuts from the most wonderful member in all the world.

-We were fed a feast from the same aforementioned wonderful member.

-I'm very tired.

Love you all!

God bless.
All the best.
Ttyl, in a bit!

With best regards,

Bayless choro
