This week was so nice. I don't want to write an email so I'm going to write the highlights
-the Duran family got baptized and it was one of the best days of my life. My comp baptized one of their daughters 5 times😇
-we met a lady named arminda who has been prepared by God to receive the restored gospel. She marveled at the fact that she could be baptized for her ancestors and without hesitation accepted a baptismal date for the 5th of august.
-i was in the church and one of the members had a my chemical romance shirt on so I was like yo I have a picture with something that wrote that on a wall and he was like no way that was me who wrote that...
-my comp elder amurrio left and I now have a new companion named elder Vasquez from Guatemala. He's so happy and I honestly couldn't be happier to end my mission with him.
-a great quote I heard today was, "if we are started to notice our weakness more and more, it means that we are drawing closer and closer to our Heavenly Father." The reason why we have ether 12:27 is because Moroni was super self conscious about the way he wrote. He didn't want us to make fun of the way he expressed himself in his writings. I find it interesting to think someone like Moroni, a prophet, would have insecurities like that. But as we all know, if we come unto Christ, He will make those weak things strong unto us.
