Hello everyone. This was a fast week. Time really flies when you're focused on the work. And whether or not street dogs are going to bite you all day. Just things like that.
P day last week was feas. We went to a knock off burger place called, "NotMac."....Nevertheless it was outstanding and I would recommend if you are ever in Bolivia 😹
This week, in all honesty, was nice. But I simply can't remember a single thing about it so I'll probably keep it short. The highlight probably was zone conference. I've only been with my new mission president for a little under 2 months buy I already love him so much. I'm really sad he's leaving. It was his last zone conference and it was very clear to me that this man has been called of God. I had a great interview with him that followed and when he gave me a big hug and it felt like I got murked by one of those tall wavy inflatable gas station things! But it was awesome and I'm going to miss him.
I think from Thursday to yesterday every single one of our citas(appointments) fell through. So that was the worst. The Lord knows what He's doing though and through that we were led to some really awesome people.Â
We had a baptism for our awesome friend luz xiomara. Her grandparents are members but her mom is inactive, so it was kind of a struggle with permission. But with lots of prayer, the Lord saw fit to allow her to enter the waters of baptism. It was an amazing experience and I'm so happy she'll be able to bless her future family with her decision.Â
I'm almost done with the Book of Mormon. This will be the second time I've read it since I've started my mission. I have grown to love reading it. The Book of Mormon gives me so much peace and comfort. Knowledge when I need it, guidance when I need it. I start my day with a desire to learn from this book, and as I read it with an open mind listening to the feelings of the Spirit, I learn something new and applicable every time. Read Mormon 9 please 💯💯
