Guys it's been quite some time. There's been a lot that's happened recently one of which being that almost every time someone here says my name they associate it with Brad Pitt. I have no idea why.
Elder Christopherson came to speak to my mission last Monday, so I was unfortunately unable to send out an email. But I did have a great experience and he talked a lot about things that I had been thinking about. We all got to shake his hand I was the last person... so he shook my hand, gave me a pat on the back and said, "they saved the best for last." Don't have to tell me twice D. Todd🙏
The works been going crazy recently, our homie maria has come to church 2 weeks in a row and we're going to ask her to be baptized this week. Keep her in your prayers porfa. We've been doing lots of member visits as well and have copped a few referrals. I really can't complain as far as the work goes. Heavenly Father knows the intentions of our hearts and blesses us as we align our will with the Saviors.
There's a member who owns a barber shop right by our house and when lessons fall through we just go over there and teach his clients we picked up 3 people from doing that this week it was sweet. When people aren't in there, the member just teaches me slang and tries to play American rap music. Interestingly enough, he allowed my comp to play sunflower by swae Lee and post Malone 4 times in a row. He also told me that there are 2 types of shoes in Santa Cruz: Jordan's and Johnathans. There's no in between 🤠
The scriptures are true. Especially the Book of Mormon. It's amazing how when you truly devote yourself to studying you can reread one of your favorite chapters and find something completely new. I did rhat this week with 2nd Nephi 4. I won't share everything I read, but I would like to invite you guys to read it and pay attention to how Nephi prayers. It really opened my eyes to know what i should be praying for and how I should be praying for it.
