Yo! I met a guy who works for a kia dealership, and he pretty much ruined my desires of getting a kia soul. I also did a middle part in my hair for like 3 days. Ive always wanted to do it so i tried it and it worked. Im just gonna wait until im home to fully persue it. Everyone was hating on it but they wear no show socks on p day with carhartt shirts😹. Oh well. This week was so good though. Like top 3 week in the mish.Â
First of all people actually wanted to listen to us. We also had a lesson with our friend nitza who believes Jesus Christ came to the America's after his death. So awesome to finally have some progressing people. Even though she didn't show up to church this week, I have faith that she'll continue you progress. We'll see. We walked into her house and that thing was like a Dutch oven😹. Homie was sweating bullets but didn't seem to mind. Can't wait to go back there...
We had a solidddd English class with those two people I talked about last week. One of them, German, came to church with us today! He's so dope, and hes from argentina so his spanish is so sick. Straight up nicest dude. He loved church, and we introduced him to a guy named brother Stoddard, who served his mission in Argentina. I honestly didn't even know, but had the impression Saturday night to have them meet the nexg day. So cool how God works. He also knew another Argentine lady in our ward so things are just really adding up.Â
Alright, I want you guys to mess with me real quick. We invited Rigo and his daughter Cali to be invited yesterday, and they said yes! It made me so happy. It reminded me of Mosiah 18 when the people basically jumped for joy at the thought of being baptized. This was Cali. She was so hyped and I couldn't stop smiling. She went to girls camp this week and got up in front of the whole camp and bore her testimony. Like holy most members don't even do that. Her faith is amazing, and Rigo has really recognized that and wants to take the next step with her.Â
I know that Heavenly Father hears our prayers. He understands our problems and trials. So does Jesus Christ. I was watching a special witness video that Jeffery R Holland did. He's in the garden of Gethsemane, and is talking about the Atonement. He said that in the garden, Christ took upon himself our sins, every mortal infirmity, and every heartache and loss. Before my mission I thought Jesus died only for our sins, but that's just the half of it. The heartache and infirmity part really hit me, because there's some things I've dealt with that have really been rough. But when I heard him say that, I felt a lot of peace knowing Jesus has felt what I'm feeling before, which means there's a way that I can feel better again, and that way is through Him.Â
I love my mission. There isn't another time or place that I could be doing what I'm doing and learning what I'm learning. Ya its really rough sometimes, but it'll all be worth it. Love you guys😎
