This week was a lot better, I am adjusting to the food and the heat. Everyone here is from African countries. The first week here I was really struggling with being homesick and I felt like i was here for no purpose. I was studying in the PMG and I came across something Elder Holland said, he was basically saying your purpose here depends on bringing sepcific others unto salvation. You should be devastated when they dont follow their commitments. They might not understand it, but you do!
I am so blessed to have this gospel and the least i could do is share it with others. Many of the missionaries in the MTC were converted by missionaries two years ago. I want to be able to influnce these lives, and be the reason that some kid in Ghana Kumasi is able to live with his family and savior again. I want all of you to value your blessings and family. People here come from nothing, they lose all their family or they dont get it like us. This kids face lit up when i let him have my highlighter, and i felt so good about myself, then he had barely nothing surprised me and bought me a book of mormon in twi. He was even more happy to give me the book that i had to accept it. We need to act this way, the kid had two shirts, one pair of old shows and one pair of pants. His family didnt care he was on a misison, his testimony and love strenghtened mine. Please be like this. I love you guys and miss you all, next time i email i will be in kumasi. I get to talk to my family on sunday and im so excited, i miss kylie and pray for her and she heads to the MTC today, also pray for my cousin brennan in argentina, he is awesome.
