I am going to make this a short one... We have a LOT to get done today!
The work continues to roll forth in Boulder! We have seen SO many miracles here this past week! We got a few new missionaries come into the zone with transfers. We had one brand new missionary come in and we love all the new missionaries!
So, I'll share a few of the miracles:
We knocked on this guy’s door, and after a short conversation we found out he has read The Book of Mormon, knows that it is the word of God, and know the church is the only true church... He just was never baptized because he wasn't ready to make that type of commitment to God. We are anxious to talk more with him!
We knocked on another door only to be welcomed immediately into the home and find out that the wife had met with missionaries before and the husband went to Lawrence University... in Appleton Wisconsin... and they were leaving the next day to fly to Wisconsin to visit. They proceeded to pull out their planner and schedule a time for us to come back when they get home.
We were knocking doors and a couple came around the corner that we met at a catholic Bible study. They immediately told us they wanted to have us over for dinner and wanted to take a tour of our Church building and find out more...
The miracles are all around us. On Saturday, we had a dinner with our Stake President and all the missionaries in the Zone. We do this to start every transfer. President Remund always asks us to say a few words. This time Elder Layton was gone because he went to the temple to see a couple, that he taught at the start of his mission, be sealed. I had two other companions with me, so I was the only one that went up to share a message to the Zone. I talked about faith. Faith to see miracles. Faith to find those who are waiting. Then we ended the dinner by starting a fast as a zone. It was cool to fast all together to recognize the miracles that are all around us.
I know that this Gospel is true. I know that we must constantly develop our faith and act on it, to see the miracles the Lord has in store for us. I have seen so many miracles out here in Colorado and am grateful I have been privileged to see them!
I love you all and appreciate all your support and prayers!
