Subject: First P-Day
Hello! Hows it going! So the last 3 days have all been really good. The first day at the mtc was really long because there were a lot of lectures. But it was pretty awesome. I was welcomed to the mtc probably 1000 times. It was really cool at first but got kinda annoying. Sleeping on the first day was hard. There are bunk beds, I was on the bottom bunk and someone in my district was on the top. Everytime he moved it made a loud noise so I woke up every time. I would say I slept for about 4-5 hours that night. We wake up every morning at 6. Its not as hard as I thought it would be.
My companion names is Elder Spencer. He is 19 years old from Idaho Falls. He is way cool. He went to a year of college at Idaho State university. A lot of the Elders I have talked to have come out at 19. I don't know if I will be able to send pictures while at the mtc I will have to figure that out.
Second day was way fun. We met out districts and got to know each other. My district is awesome! 3 sisters and 6 elders including me. We wake up each morning and meet together as a district and go over things. I'm district leader so I get to lead the discussions and some other things. We have had so many good times as a district. We got close to each other very fast. We laugh all the time and tell jokes. Its awesome
I'm now getting used to everything. I have definetly grown a lot in the last couple days. We teach "fake" almost every day. My experience going on splits really helped with that. The first lesson I probably talked 90% of the time because my comp didnt know what to say. The next one he was more prepared so I would push him to talk more and he did. Waking up isn't bad. I still get tired at times throughout the day. I will try to send pictures sometime.
I was able to see Jared in the lunch room and that one guy who came to my farewell who also had a farewell that day. I was able to talk to them for a couple minutes. The food is pretty good, its all you can eat.
The church is true. I have already seen so many blessings in the mtc. We pray before we do everything. The power of prayer is amazing. Love you guys.
