Dear Family, Brothers and Sisters, My Dear Friends,
What a great week this has been. The weather is looking up a, a hot and humid day we did have ourselves today in Aarhus.
So now that we are three in Aarhus, things got more interesting. With a Utah Member, a farmer from Idaho and a Canadian Norwegian things have gotten interesting.
Contacting is fun as a trio. Sometimes two of us talk to someone while the other goes a little farther down and talks to some people. Contacting by your self is always a little weird. Thank goodness we are sent out two by two.
We found a new friend this week. Jonas is his name. He was a referral from the Odense 2 sisters and we have met with him twice. He doesn't believe in God but is open to try to find out. He has been reading and we invited him to pray is own. He said that we would but he won't pray in front of us. Jonas didn't come to church which was a bit a bummer but we're meeting again this week. A cool miracle that happened with Jonas that he has been searching for a job for a while now. The day after he meet with us, he got a call about a job and he basically got it. Jonas even admitted that it was a miracle! So things are looking good with him.
At church we were a bit bummed that Jonas didn't come but during the first hymn in comes walking in looking better then ever was Jens. Jens was the guy who we taught for a bit who has the huge word of wisdom issue. He just came strolling in and sat right next to Elder Wright. it was so good to see him. That was also a little tender mercy! He wants us to visit him this week.
We also had a member come out with us on Splits. Steen Johansen was his name. It went great. We didn't find anyone but he got the missionary spirit and then bore his testimony at church. Elder McBride and I found a girl who was interested, we just need to get in contact with her.
This coming week is looking good though with a few appointments and traveling to the districts.
Well I hope everything is good over yonder. I pray all is well and I may you all have week that is one where you do something to come close to the Savior. I can share one thing. I was listening to Elder Bruce R McConkie's last talk he ever gave and it really moved me. I invite you all to listen to it.
