Its kind of a blessing to me that Ogden had that huge storm a couple of months ago. I cant imagine the damage that would have come if those trees were still up. My heart goes out to all those who were displaced because of the storm.
I feel like life has been a tornado for me. I am grateful to all the people who have anchored me to the ground so that I dont fly away. The mission has most definitely been no exception. There are moments that are pretty hard. Ive been sick this week and I am a baby when Im sick. I have had some awesome caring companions who've helped me a lot.
This week has been kind of slow. My highlight for the week was when an investigator that we've been working with for a while said to us that he has come to the conclusion that he either needs to get baptized or stop investigating.
Oh I probably shouldnt forget to mention that the mission president called on wednesday. He told me that I am headed to Taiwan on October 4th!!!!!!!!!! That may be big news hahah
Im incredibly nervous! On friday we went to a chinese buffet so that I could speak chinese with the people that worked there. It was not an easy task. I think I did somewhat ok, but it was not pretty.
Im excited for a new part of my adventure, but I will sincerely miss North Dakota. I didnt think that I would say that, but the people that live here have made me fall in love with this place. That and the sky. The sunsets and storm clouds here are magnificent! I wish that everyone had an opportunity to see what the storm clouds looked like 2 nights ago. They were gorgeous!
